Acoustical

I played my acoustic guitar
but you could not hear it.

Your amplifier was getting
feedback from a number of
strange people screaming into
phallic shaped microphones.

So, I let you plug my guitar
into your amplifier
and played a very beautiful song.

You liked the song,
so you turned the other singers
volume way down and listened.

Then you sang along with my playing.
It was beautiful.
You said we should be in a band,
but I said I would only play
in an acoustic band. Then I
unplugged my guitar and continued to play.

You could no longer hear what I played.
I keep motioning for you to
turn the amplifier off and sing
in your normal voice.

But you cannot hear me over the
amplifier. Either you will figure out
to turn it off on your own
or you won't.
