eyes blackened old
lips biting into crimson horizons
with the heavens tainted tarnished gold
morning embroidered on pockets
with needles of chipped teeth
raining from periwinkle oceans
and building faithless blasphemy
smoldering alkaline on tar grass
lighting aflame to a brick fortress
blood flows from her lips
lying naked on his mattress
it stains the inside of her throat
a kiss bitten onto her flesh
in silence she trembles
inhaling bated breaths
eyes hazy on alabastor mornings
skin promised release
she mumbles a prayer to god
a pleading for enternal peace
his hands snarel around her
a captive paralyzed from crying
"I love you" she assured him firmly
and who knows if she was lying
Author notes
She's hanging onto optomisim trying to act mature with blackened eyeliner however her happiness, is tarnished, dirtied and ruined because she tried to hard to fight her losing battles. she attempts to remain calm, but she's looking more ridiculous with each try of nonchalance. she's falling, drowning because she's godless and confused, hence why it's raining from the ocean; her world has been completely flipped. her regrets burn into her, right even through the supposed impenetrable wall she created around herself. worlds fall from her lips like blood - oozing with the copper taste of promise and sweetness, a salty combination of dying. she fell for him, letting herself be vulnerable (NOT RAPED, LOL), the words she spoke are like stains on her skin - everyone can read the fake she's become. she's destroyed and dying emotionally, seeing no more beauty in the world she once found breathless. she questions any deity why her fate has turned this way and yet there is never an answer. suicide seems plausible, but she can't bring herself to do it. he brings her back to earth, groundes her (his arms snarl around her...)he's oblivious to what he's unintentionally inflicted upon her, but she can't find the strength anymore to push him away because the harder he pulls her from death, the more she pulls away from him. he's slowly killing her, thoughtlessly encouraging her suicide. however she loves him and she knows that she shouldn't.
