another lifetime

i fell for your stories
believed all your lies
forgave and forgive
the tears in your eyes
they captured my heart
wiped the slate clean
crushed all my dreams
and shattered my soul
you selfishly took
without looking back
struck me with forces
until i'd had enough
my blood has flowed
mingled with sweat
i've coward before you
and you've hit me again
"why have you done this"
reduced us to this
me in a corner
smashed down with your fist
the memories they come
the good times we shared
before all of the violence's
and i became scared
in my eyes i can see us
i remember the years
when love held us together
instead of my fear

    Crying oceans of despair...

for all of my sisters out there, who love their men and find instead of love returned, a fist of rage because of ?? The reason is always your fault, though you do nothing wrong. Soon you start to believe him, that you are nothing but garbage. But he is and will always be wrong.

this is an extremely emotional poem that you've written. a place I've been long ago. one that leaves bad memories, and scars that run deep. the imagery throughout this poem is vivid and powerful. the last three lines hit me hard.

Excellent job with both the prompt and your poem.

    good luck

I hope you are okay my friend,
this sounds like it comes from a place of reality
and if it is, well, you must do something.

I can really feal the anger in your words,
like you've lost apart of your soul or something.

I wish you all the best
