I seek for love
I search for someone who will hold me
For the one person who will save me
But I fall short
No white knight will come to my rescue
Only countless dark knights bent on destroying me
I cannot find to one thing I truly desire
Love
It seems like all of my dreams have been lost
Plunged into the shadows of my mind
Never to come true
Will they just fade away into nothingness
Slowly I begin to hate this word
Love
Who believes in such a thing
It’s just a false hope, never to happen
For those who have fallen into the illusion
For those that have false truths
For those that dream of this nonexistent concept

I like this poem. It's very nicely done. You know what I thought of when I first saw the title and read the poem? The movie The Dark Knight, if only because your poem and the movie both have contrasting images of dark knight and white knight, both of whom are fighting for the same love
