He asked so much and I gave it all
Knowing that this was the real fall
Loved him with everything thoguht it was enough
In the end I just wasn't good enough
I gave him my heart and I gave him my soul
Given away everything leaving me cold
Gave him my friends and gave him my life
Gave up my voice and my inner light
I belong to him, because he asked if I could
Wont settle for less, so is everything good?
Thought that maybe if I tried really hard
I could get him to atleast share his heart
Instead he chased away my friends
To possesive, it just never ends
I know they think that I can leave
But you can't leave your everything

your last stanzo is completely off the rest of the poem which is great by the way. i love it. but if you work on the ending a little bit, it will make this better. you have till the end of the contest when i will read it again, it will improve your chances. but great take off my poem!! i also wish it was longer... but maybe its just cuz the ending threw it off...
