Poison Kiss

Liqueur tang on lacquered lips
Satin slides down sinuous hips
Artfully revealing
Enough to send the senses reeling
Without showing something more
To this evening's foolish score
One hand releases hair bound high
To form a curtain as if shy
With lust does the prey approach
Another figure beyond reproach
Not realizing he's been led
To embrace danger on his bed
A single kiss a touch of tongue
Now the warning bells have rung
As sensation begins to fade
and colors darken into shade
Another contract fulfilled and paid
Courtesy of Poison Maid

Author notes

The term Maid in this poem refers to the shortened form of Maiden (not the household kind)
