When you look into the tattered box
a puzzle of my heart you will find
Many pieces of different sizes
each represents a different time
When the pieces are linked together
they will form a perfect heart
Beautiful and loving in nature
daily living describes a major part
The times we shared together
our love was passionate and true
Represented by the larger piece
tells of my time devoted to you
Good times, heartaches and tears

To make the person I am today
pieced together to make my heart
I keep all the treasures pieces
close together in the tattered box
So when I want to work the puzzle
I remove the sensual golden lock

reminding the first time we kissed
