Sweet Rose of Ireland...

Missing image
Her rugged sea cliffs,
call you home.
Mystical poems,
yet to write.

Rolling green hills,
rambling brooks.
Lepricons with,
pots of gold.

Sweet Lady of Ireland,
that was your AP name.
Two years of writing,
and look how many poems.

Now dear Cyn,
so many favorites.
Thank you for choosing me,
to be your friend!

My dear Sweet Rose of Ireland.

A very well written dedication poem for a friend. I am sure she is touched by this one. I love Ireland, seeing how my ancestry leads to the good ole' Irish...

How lovely! I do love poems about Ireland (as my wife is Irish). A gorgeous photo, as well. Is that from the north? We live in Ulster, my wife and I.

Regardless, a beautiful tribute to a dear friend. No doubt she enjoys it immensely. Best of luck in the contest, though it seems you've already won. A wonderful friendship is more touching than anything.

You captured the essance of her beauty and her heart all within your poem. I think only you could write such a tribute to someone so dear. I wish you the best of luck in the contest, but I think this is just like her heart... as good as gold...
