Mad
It’s what they call me
Crazy
It’s what I am
Insanity
It’s what plagues me
Thought
I was free
Found
It wasn’t to be so
Mad
I must be
Madness
Is like bondage
Never
Will I be loosed
Chains
Are wrapped so tightly
Razors
Are glistening brightly
Just
Out of my reach
Perhaps
I could use the noose
Hanging
Above my head
Reaching
My head fits into the circle
Smiling
I feel its grip
Roughly
It clings to my neck
Calmly
It is tightened
Quietly
I slip away
Darkness
It consumes me
To Fight
Would be a waste
Madness
It’s what plagued me
Madness
Thought I was free
Crazy
It’s what I called me
Mad
It’s what I must be.

Interesting
I think the title works and i'm sure you didn't feel this way. I'm a very happy person and I wrote one called Simple for the same contest. Anyway it flows well aand forms a picture in your mind. Good luck.by

Thank you JinxyCat. I have been trying to stay away from the "darker" writing, but once in a while, with a little inspiration, I scare myself and something like this comes out.

Noose works as a good title, seems you are bound by the words..
Gives it that effect anyways, I like this write, good luck in the contest

For the record, I do not feel this way!!! This was inspired by a picture for a contest. And the picture kind of sort of reminded me of this!
