Stretching my wings
I beckon to the soft moonlight,
a question in my eyes
as I meet yours.
And upon seeing the sorrow
that settled in your heart...
I can offer shining Gold,
the coins themselves overflowing my keep -
I can offer glowing Jewels,
Emeralds and Sapphires galore,
pristine beauty only found
deep within my caverns...
I can offer Weather of your liking,
and Wind that powers your flight -
I can offer flowers of Fire,
lighting your path
and decorating your lands.
And yet I percieve this is not what you want.
I can offer a listening ear
and advice, should you need it -
I can offer long flights,
secrets whispered from one to the other...
Friendship is the gift
many need the most...
And that is the highest gift I can offer.
And a question
lingers in my eyes
as I meet yours...
