A wish granted

A wish granted

If wishes were a part of life I would request
that you my Edna dear were feeling well again
to live once more the life of ease that you know best
and share the fun you had with Hugh before the pain.

You have the greatest love that lies within your heart
who took you for his wife through times of bad and good
and treats you like the Queen you are, right from the start.
I know he’d take away your suffering if he could.

My wish I’d grant for you my dear would be good health
no pain or tears to shed just love and happiness
with each new day your health is worth much more than wealth
so take this wish I send and you’ll feel fabulous.

When loved ones feel unwell and in your care
we always let them know that we are there.

    Great!

"Live to be happy" is a wonderful motto, and our desire for Edna and Hugh is the return of full health and happiness. Surely wishes like this cannot be refused. Thank you for this generous wish and a second entry Jen! Good luck!

Dear Jen, A lovely Get well wish for Edna. I hope they operate and fix her ankle as the pain would be dreadful.
Good health and happiness certainly is better than anything else. I hope your wishes come true.
    Love AJ

Who are the other two in the photo?(I'm nosy) Hugh looks happy there.

As Hugh said, it's beautiful, and he liked it because he printed it out. I can't help but notice he didn't print out my Frankenstein entry, lol

If wishes were a part of life...

What a delightful way to start your poem!

    Dear Jen,

My daughter, Sue, is down from the North Island, staying with us for a few days so this comment will be brief.
Thankyou for this beautiful poem and your good wishes to Edna. I've printed this out so she can keep it in her folder and Sue has also been reading all the get-well poems and messages.
Thankyou again. Best of luck in the voting. Sorry I can't spend more time on PC at present.
Love and hugs, XXX Hugh (R.)
