When you live with the heart the size of Texas ,
and you reach out to all each day .
Saying get yourself on over here,
and give me a hug its the only way.
I have the love my mama passed on,
such a gift that shines through.
And often when I am helping others I feel her kiss,
and a whisper I love you more I do.
Tears fills my eyes and often others come near,
And they ask me whats wrong my dear ?
I settle down and then reply ,
I just got a kiss from heaven as my mom passed me by.
Some know of this feeling but so many dont,
they will look at me with a frown and then leave me alone.
It's Ok if they dont believe but I so wish they could,
for it's a love that is always returned only if they would.
She comes in a wink from a nephew,
or a chearful laugh from my neice.
A frown from me sometimes,
when with them I become displeased .
What a blessing I share each day,
to help the younger ones I guide them on their way.
For mamas never leave you see,
as long as I carry her love she will have kisses for me .
