When nature dons it’s hat and coat
It starts to strike a sober note
It casts the leaves down from the trees
Initiates a cooler breeze
Although it causes leaves to drop
They help to feed a future crop
And when the snow comes from above
It’s nature working hand in glove
To set the scene for later on
When the flowers bloom
And the snow is gone.
