thought provoking *sigh*
You really capture in these few words just how in-grained life can be at times. "Don't rock the boat..." "don't think about it just do it..." attitudes that we take sometimes. I LOVE this personification!!!

My ethos is that the relationship between Mistress and slave is like that between a Japanese "daimyo" and a retainer, or faithful samurai; hence the emblem at the top of this piece - the "mon" of the Tokugawa Shoguns. I have tried to portray this relationship as being something very natural, as in the movement of a flag in the wind. I am glad you found this interesting.
