Upon A Scene

What if I told you
That the things
That go *bump* in the night
Are really there
Or the Bloodsuckers and Skin-Walkers
You see in movies
Really walk the streets?
What if I could tell you
I've seen them feed
I've seen them howl
I've seen them do thier worst
What if I told you
I knew more than I was supposed to?
And I'm not suppposed to say a word.

I walked upon a scene
In the middle of city square
On a dark, chilly October's night.
There were bloody foot-trails
And a were-man becoming "himself" once more.
I didn't see the body
But he turned to me
And said,
"You tell a soul,
And it's you
I'll have next."

I turned around,
Just to see another frighting sight.
A cold, pale, hardened face
In front of mine.
And as he bit into me
I could feel my whole being
Melt into his.

And, my little darling,
That's why I must feed on you
On this dark, snow covered night.
