Pertect Haiku!
The images are vivid and I like the way it is a fragment and a prhase either way you read it. What's that called- a pivital line?
Good luck in this contest.

nice weaving
indeed raised eyebrows at vividness of the second line, and way it's in such declaration, simple for both contexts juxtaposed. I can conjecture artistic abstraction of daydreaming darkening bright season spurts as shadowing lively bird's feathers gathering. it even correlates with cold throw of our voice over such emptying branches for sound effects of chilling sight!
split colors of border and bacground pull into that hue of thought too.
definitely a mode of images,

I'm in love with this, I love the last line, it somehow captivates me :] -
autumn leaves
from every tree
a crow appears
A lovely haiku of the season, and just like it is here. The ravens are there, and the contrast of their darkness with the bright colors of autumn is very good. Thank you so much!
