She was on my cover of Cosmo
flesh-perfect
make-up by Givanche
twisted pearls at throat
a hint of breast
wishing for more
waist-up fantacies
What lies behind the smile?
Ruby red...
head cocked just so
shinning eyes-sraight at you!
She's all airbrushed
a rush in bloom
a perfect fantacy
She'll love you forever
laugh at all your jokes
make love on que
she knows her mark on stage
and plays it very well
a dream come true
She'll do all your shopping
just for you
She's an airbrush baby
with hungry lips to match
raging in five inch black heels
she'll dance with you
holdin' like no other
she will take your breath away
nobody dances like that
legs to legs
close to close
,,,flesh to flesh
when she sleeps
you watch
waiting for the next breath to rise
feel the warm body-an inch away
faced-away she's gone
into something quiet and beautiful
You can't sleep
laying on your side
you drink it all in
the darkened walls
the moon drifting through
white silk draped curtains
Its' very quiet
your thoughts quite too
this moment is so very airbrushed
...so perfect.

Nice thoughts.
Airbrushed is cool.
Pity about the typos.

Please accept my apologies dear poet, my author page keeps deleting entries that I have approved and when I couldn't find this when I went to re read I assumed that you had deleted it.
Thankyou for the honour of saying that I encouraged and inspired this write from the title.
I like how you reflected on the way that the woman was airbrushed to paint perfection but that you realized it was a wonderful, wonderful, warm illusion of this siren possibly being able to be and do everything for you.
I smiled at the shopping!
Well done

What a delicious write!
From beginning to end you
had command of my attention -
What a wonderful writer you
are. Love, Lane

I'm mad about people who never say a commonplace thing. This poem is not very interesting or unique. This is just my opinion.
The best part is comparing a moment in time to the cover of an airbrushed magazine--perfect, but fake.
