I Thought You Were My Friend

This one person made me think
that we would be freinds for etrnity
He made me feel special in this world
I thought that you would protect me

But you decided to stab me in the back
poked fun at me, when i thought you were
my friend The Summers we had together you
made me feel as if you hated me, Wanted to
drag me through the streets

I THOUGHT YOU WERE MY FRIEND

    A nice sort of rant from distrust which can consume. The spelling could really use some attention in the first stanza. Thank you for your entry & best wishes in the contest!

    I'm sorry you had to go through this! I've definitely been here and know it feels. It feels so awful and so miserable. This is a good piece about how it feels to have your world be tossed upside down by someone you cared about. Well done!
