Innocence blinded the gathering gloom
in world surreal to harsh realities
consumed in valley's depressions
child bride to miseries dependencies
distant cawing the gathering gawker's
in pretense caring
circling in taste of glee yet to come
final demise to sanity's last vestige

I like the idea of innocence blinding the gathering gloom. You've juxtaposed some interesting and original ideas to come up with a rather gloomy piece. I like it though. "Final demise to sanity's last vestige". Sounds like Hallowe'en.
