You've always been there for me
Through the smiles, through the frowns
Through the ups, through the downs
When no one believed me
You were there, as always
You've been the one constant in my life
The light in the darkness
The one thing I could truly count on was you
Now as you leave, I try not to cry
Trying to be happy as I wish you goodbye
I don't want you to put your dreams on hold for me
I guess, I just want you to remember
Remember the good, remember the bad and never forget me
As I know, I will never forget you

    i liked it. it is not crappy. it's very well written. it has sad undertones that are conveyed very well.

    I don't think it's crappy. I can relate, and really liked it. It's always hard when a friend moves on and leaves you behind, but it's a part of life that is basically inevitable. That fact doesn't make it less painful though. Great job on this!
