Pubescent gauze binding quintessence,
as a cocoon for sandman’s reverie thickets,
teddy bear opiates and gum drop elixirs
losing their medical prowess
from the looming apparition of innocence’s mortician.
Upon the plain of erudite wheat,
strolling barefoot in senses to the awakening
of the aged creature from maturity’s meadow.
Half traumatized from the chilling breath of fated sunrise,
but ready to strip away the bandages of ignorance.
And arise as the being time was slowly crafting,
still clinging to the stuff toys of insecurity
while child inside romps in the head
occasionally gaining rule over the buttons of control.

Well penned my friend....sometimes I wonder if the inner child shouldn't control a little more anyway. Best to you in contest.

Great look at the medical system of drugs, treatment placboe as the elixirs of apparition strip away ignorance. Time crafted to treat the child in the head. The flow moves quickly as the reader enjoys the narrator direction through wheat field to occasional control of the mind.
