Her, my love, my laugh,
my life.
I see the love in the light
that shines in her eyes -
and the shine is like a dagger:
Piercing -
Pain -
I am her Air -
and I am her Sun -
And she chooses him.
Can she not make a choice?
Or can I not go away?
Why am I hanging by the tips of her fingers -
Wrapped around every word she speaks?
Why am I suspended in the air
My life, my happiness
depending on her very being?
Why am I entwined
in the webs of her silver lies?
Why is my heart
ensnared in a cage
of her broken promises?
And Why do I still watch -
And stay -
When I see them embrace?
Does she know that her Sun is dying inside out?
Author notes
Option 4
I'm not a Twilight fan at all - but I do like S. Meyer's other book, the Host! - however, I do like Jacob. He's so much more real than the other characters.

I'm not a Twilight fan either, so I was trying to piece this together;
Well, when I say I'm not a twilight fan, I mean that I've never seen the movie OR read the books so all I know is that it's about a girl who falls in love with a boy and then finds out he's a vampire
HOwever, knowing now that this is about it, the poem does make more sense, and i just LOVE that title,
"The sun is dying from the inside out" <-- wow, wthere's something very inspiring about that, i'm not sure what it is, but just ... something...
Thanks for entering

Thank you for the comment
This poem can pretty much fit into any love triangle she-loves-him, he-loves-her, he-loves-her-too relationship, if that helps

That was good, though I didn't really get the flow.
A bit of editing may help.
Other than that I really liked "Why am I hanging by the tips of her fingers
Wrapped around every word she speaks?"
