There upon his body
it laid in hiding
something so deadly
once it decides
to rear it's ugly head.
So tiny the human eye
can't see it growing
expanding; attaching
become a solid part
of his now perfect body.
Many years passed by
damage done; completed
still unknown to him
unseen as a threat
not seen by anyone.
Today this man is worried
upon his chest there is a spot
some tell him it's cancer
others just a mole
either way to the doctor he goes.
You should have came in earlier
you have stage four skin cancer
wondering how; why didn't he know
that upon his body this thing
that would take his life did grow?

Author notes
Cancer remains anomynous for many years upon the body, The it the anomaly shows itself and too many times it's too late. Never be afraid to ask your doctor questions.
