Silence climbs through the worlds so complete there
the sounds in the quiet of the dark night
where the hooting of an owl cries in care
till the dawns early beautifully bright light
Silence is the richest of all the sounds
the sound of the wind breaks over and through
the swish of the leaves going round and round
water crashing upon the shore will do
The birds singing within the daylights song
the scratching of the mouse within the wall
these are the sounds of silence that be long
echoes of thoughts in ever distant fall
Crying of a hawk as it hunts it prey
songs of nature that plays upon the day.
