Take back your tears and forgo the last mystery
of those memories of sea salt and saliva
conjured in amber and sealed in the history
of continents and centuries of jiva.
Herein seek birth beyond the solar winds,
beyond what words can tarnish and can time efface –
substance seeking sustenance offends
the light the giver gives beyond embrace.
Sleep your sleep, send silence surging past
the ears that trickle round the cochlear.
Still ganglia and neuron firing fast
but sense nonsense that scents the seeking seer.
If in this moment if you cannot intuit,
in tears and torrents well then, welcome to it.
