Suffering flows perennial
Fed continuously,
fountain of joy dries up
Intermittently,
is it in me
Create woes around
Abound in pleasure
Before sucked by vortex of sorrow.
When I go deep inside
Shutting my eyes
I discern,
ambition, greed and lust
Caused this ache.
I want my name
Fame spreading in my back yard,
turn wealthiest.
I exploit others,
albeit selfish wants
I pretend
Lie,
without letting others at ease.
This is the journey
Travelled,
occasional glimpses of bliss
Apart,
dark echoes filled gloomy.

This is the meditation of Buddha, in which he found the roots of suffering. This knowledge gives us power and compassion - everyone seeks happiness in the same misguided way.
There are good insights here, good luck!

good description words even though
here and there they sound a little
akward.
Majority was really nice.
I am glad you used this prompt
=)
I would have liked a stronger ending
but its still nice.
