He was made of pewter, blue and red,
tin soldier with a gun and with one leg.
He was standing silent and his head
faced to a beuaty dancing on a rack.
She was dancing with a star on her chest,
his and her eyes built one bridge.
He was her only and she was his best,
but sombedy cold was like a fridge.
Refrain:
Flames, big red flames,
they swallow all,
but hearts and names.
Flames in a hearth
in a big hall
may cross your path,
after raise comes fall…
An evil ghost disliked the couple,
he made the girl fall, he baddie.
He knew well, how to make her trouble,
the tin soldier was a fearless laddie.
The both beings died in fire,
a heart of them was in an ash,
the love is the biggest desire,
feelings are timeless, body´s trash…
Refrain:
Flames, big red flames,
they swallow all,
but hearts and names.
Flames in a hearth
in a big hall
may cross your path,
after raise comes fall…

Thanks a lot - it was inspired by a Fairy Tale by H. Ch. Andersen from Danmark - do you know him? He wrote very nice tales, but sad, full of emotions.
Hi,
Marek -
Outstanding
This is a very sad tale - I felt very sorry for the tin soldier and his love swallowed in flames by the evil one. An interesting lyric. I think it would make a good song with a few guitars in the background. Fantastic writing!
