Howling' October winds unburied your serects that night,
home alone with a pitch black heart.
Smelling only the stench of your lies,
the neighbors told me the truth.
As the bitterness falls, resentments are held,
she was a witch placing an evil spell they say.
Howling' October winds buried our marriage vows that night,
evil walked in, demons took our bedroom.
Enormity takes over, I walk a path where venom spits hate and my forgiveness is drowning in tears of all of our years.
Nevertheless its all coming back to you sevenfold,
Howling' October winds here to claim your soul this night.

Intersting take on the prompt. Nicely written and a very eerie look at Halloween! Well done!
