Father, I want to take this time
to come to Thee in prayer
to thank Thee for Thy comfort
in the midst of my despair.
Savior, through Thy sacrifice,
we are granted our redemption.
Salvation for the asking;
Free to all without exemption.
Omnipotent of power
and everlasting love,
I see Thy Divine beauty
in the sunsets up above.
Thou hast blessed me with my children
and a reverent, loving wife.
Thou hast provided me Thy guidance
as I traverse this mortal life.
Lord, I thank Thee for my blessings.
I feel the warmth of Your embrace
and someday, within Thy Kingdom,
I shall gaze upon Thy face.
