strewn across our land we as human have defaced.
Look upon the water the elixor of life,
and tell me today WHY.
I walked along one of our rivers today,
dirty pampers strewn along the way.
Sick are the ones who cares not you see,
only the elixor you so destroy is for all indeed.
I often wonder when those so brain dead,
ever got as far as they have uncaring you bet.

I love the beauty our rivers have they are the purest of all beauty we still have the freedom to see yet tell me today when you go to a river what do you see .Beer bottles broken beer cans left strewn all around people just change their babies diapers and leave them alongside the water the same water thir children are swimming in . Uncaring world the world that will be plagued by disease if we dont start careing for this land and stop the filth about us .

So true.
I saw some of that, that day as well -
oh wow a very negative poem for a lovely picture that is the prompt. You wrote the poem very well don't get me wrong. I was just surprised by how negative it was.
