Songs of peace
fell like autumn leaves
upon a world
on the brink.

Children were born
with future's flowers
in their hair,
dancing on zephyr's
freedom.

There was
and still is,
hope,
but the battle
continues.

    This is well written for the prompt. Loved the use of children and flowers for the future. You used the imagery very well. And I really did like this poem. Good job
