Lonely Storms

O when will that dear breath of beauty's glow
There grace you evermore beyond the days,
That linger madness; I wish you could know
(Far clearer so your heart no longer frays)

The life that burns in all my dreams thereof;
What touches tenderness, a bright extol
Of that which I will surely grant you, love
If you herein could give your heart and soul!

Yet if you go without me by-and-by
There granting me no fairness when you seem
To use a sad excuse, what reason why
do you not want to be with me in dream?

You live no peace, no courage here reforms
With all content when you bear lonely storms

What did you think?

    Your title sets the tone and i love it, especially ending on those two lines very impressionable.

    I'm thinking you must like Emily Dickenson. "This traverse may the poorest take/without oppress of toll/How frugal is the chariot/That bears a human soul." (If I remember it right) I really liked your next-to-the-last stanza; it is perfect!
