This is an enchanting scene from a windy Fall day ~ the autumn leaves, like children's hands joining in play and dancing on the cobblestones. Very lovely! Thank you for your entry.
-
how do the leaves join hands? a bit too much metaphor for my mind's eye... perhaps stick to the leaves == children argument and expand the image-story from there.
leaves like children
dancing around the cobblestones
falling into a pile

Beautiful words.
I loved the poetic devices used here.
Leaves playing like children is really wonderful imagination.
All the best.

Such a splendid write. I could see this in my mind. Awesome for three short lines.

Interesting
a fascinating write this haiku is. I could envision all of this taking place with little kids jumping into piles of leaves that the adults just created. I remember doing that myself quite often and oh how the good times roll. any ways just a very well balanced well penned poem and enjoyed it. keep up the good work

This brings out the joy of the season, with the swirl of leaves and happiness of youth. A delightful haiku, thank you so much.
