An emo soul


Going down that ole country road
back to where I started
alone, lost, confused.

But, there's a fire
that I can see
waiting to be set a blaze.

at the corner,
I turn to notice
you ,standing beside me

yet its only a shadow
slowly
fading into the dusk

Yet there's something
Still pushing me
Onward towards home

Making me want to
keep fighting
to see the brighter
side of things.

Towards self-discovery,
ambition is the key
never failing

to drive me to
an earlier grave.
