I stand
in wonder
as Mozart’s requiem
plays out
whole and complete
in the theatre of
my dreams
in the early
morning light
I paint with
Monet
strolling through
Giverny with
water colors drip
from the tips of my fingers
on the streets
of Vienna
I dance with
Beethoven
to the celestial music
that is
his soul
the surrounding environment
of Joys and sorrows
exists not in it own right
as at every single
moment
subtle changes
in the Light
the Air
and the Music
become the obsession
of the artist
