It's Halloween night, and my lights are out,
And I really can't seem to sleep.
That's whe the ghosts and goblins and ghouls,
Come out to haunt and to creep.
There's a big, green goblin and he's under my bed.
Don't ask me how I know, but it's true!
No, I haven't actually seen him, not yet.
But I believe in him, do you?
There are ghosts in my closet and something outside,
There are shadows that move on my wall.
My mom says that I should not worry so much;
She says I imagine it all.
In the new morning, the goblin is gone.
Under my bed it is clear.
My closet is full of my clothes and my shoes,
And the shadows have all disappeared.
Do you think that maybe my mother is right?
Do you think I imagined it all?
I guess I will be a bit braver tonight;
At least 'til the ghouls come to call!

LOL, i remember well on how scary your bedroom is at night, any night ..when you're a kid. I had a monster rooster under my bed, my shrink says that its all in my head but i dont think so
He wants me to go to a farm and confront a rooster

thanks for this,

Welcome to AllPoetry!
This is cute. Rhymes well and good flow to it. Reminds me of old childhood stories about monsters in my closet or under the bed. Well done with this.
