Chapter 34 of those Adventures of Trixie the Pesky Mouse: Trixie Visits a
Haunted House for Halloween

Well my dear friends, I come to you again with yet another chapter of everyone’s favourite little mouse, our dear Trixie the Pesky Mouse.
I tell you, when I penned my first chapter over two years ago now, I never expected in a million years  that I would still be writing and enjoying writing about that little rodent.
Here goes:
It was a dark and spooky evening, for our little Trixie to be out walking so late.
She was coming home from choir practice which ran a little late because
Fuzzy the Squirrel had a dentist appointment.
She walked quickly , so as not to be more afraid than she already was.
Then she heard a long low howl in the distance.
Well she jumped three feet in the air and turned three shades of red.
It was only Harry the Hoot Owl, waking up for his night of hunting.
He waved a friendly wave to his good friend Trixie !

Along the spooky path she contuse, watching her step because of the big rocks all around !
Wow, she exclaimed at the top of her voice.
There standing right in front of her was the “ Headless Horseman ” you know

the one from “ Sleepy Hollow ” fame !
She was so scared that she started to shake all over.
But the Horseman said to he, “ My dear little Trixie, you have nothing to fear from me, I’m one of you’re biggest fans. ”
They both began to laugh and laugh.
Then Trixie invited him into her little house for hot chocolate and marshmallows.
