He was a strange youth,
behavior making others uncomfortable,
always viewed as different,
never understood by siblings,
rumors whispered questioning legitimacy,
relief expressed when he wasn’t around.
None concerned when he left,
some wanting to forget him
when returned years later,
strolling Israel,
declaring
He is Savior unto the world.

Sometimes those who seem the most outcast are our leaders. They hold secrets of accomplishment that we don't have time nor interest to listen to and when we do listen we often do not hear. I know this child. I know not how many would declare me "Savior", but if indeed one was saved then the task was complete.
Excellent emotions chalked throughout this well written work of poetry. Thank you for this entry and I wish you well in the challenge.
Much Love & Respect ♥
