They tell me there is a Heaven,
I know nothing about that;
I only know that after I die
I hope there is a Heaven
so that we can be together again.
The Golden Gates
would open upon the clouds,
and I would walk right in.
Then my feet would follow
a soft colored road.
That road might lead me
to a city in the sky,
where an angel
could tell me
where you flew.
Forever in heaven
with my closest loved one,
is a wish for my after life.
They tell me there is a Hell,
I know nothing about that;
I only know that
if He damned me to there,
I wouldn't mind
as long as you were there.
If you were there with me,
It would still be
Heaven to me.
While I'm in hell with you,
I could be tortured
all those years
and I would still
have a smile on my face
everytime I saw you.
They tell me there is a Heaven,
They tell me there is a Hell,
But what they don't know is that
You are my Heaven,
and a life without you
is my Hell.
So I'll lay here
in this bed
holding onto
the peice of Heaven
that God gave me.
