Spring, her threads entwine,
Penetrate the surface of hardened earth
Caressing new maidens with swaying heads.
Their bodies stretching with jubilant rebirth,
A grand performance, sublime display
Gracefully paying homage to mother nature.
Her delicate perfume drifting on air,
Spilled like scented wine upon the landscape
Blessing all in sight with immaculate beauty.
Her voice a soothing whispered breeze,
As green meadows rejoice in sweet melody.
The brown winged wood birds harmonise,
Their tender song of gratitude echoing.
Sifting through sun drenched trees,
A dedication for mother nature in full glory.
How wonderful this world can be
When dressed in harmony and perfect peace.

this peice, although about the grandness of spring, has a sweet sensual tone to it. Every line swept me further into the depths of freshness. What a grand picture you have painted for us with winter sneaking up on us like theives. I can't wait for spring, and all of the beauty it promises.
Simply beautiful my dear.
Blessings,

What outstanding imagery to this piece. I felt like I was swept up into it and soaring in a dream. It actually gives me a bit of hope for humanity. Bravo.
