Loneliness is
sitting back and watching
people laughing and having a
good time
and knowing you don't belong.

Loneliness is
watching the boy
that you think is "it"
dancing, laughing, and
loving another girl.

Loneliness is
never being touched
by a gentle, loving
hand.

Loneliness is
never belonging
always searching
but never finding
what you want,
what you need.

Loneliness is
me.

hope you like this.  And yes, i did read your rules but that's an awful lot to write down.  I'm a munchkins applie pie yada dida oh-so-in-love-with life!!

    Straight from the heart!!!

    Heyy!! i feel so a lot of times! In fact, at least thrice a week, i am there for sure. Thankfully I have great friends who sort of pull me out of it so efficiently, but i seriously doubt for how long they can do it. So, i'm trying to learn how to get out myself and this write helped a lot! It is said that only if you acknowledge your problems can you work on them to make it better. thanks for putting it so beautifully in words. The rhythm and imagery were vivid and amazing!

    It could be about anything, really, that you want to write about in this contest.. Glad that you read everything tho!

    I like how you take loneliness as your inspiration for 'What Hurts The Most' here. It is such a very big part of the human condition, and has such a strong dose of existentialism that...yeah, it affects each and every one of us.
