My existance is shadowed by my pain.
As all I have left is a world of sorrow.
I sit in this cold gloomy downpour
It washes the smile clean off my face.
I want to understand what goes on inside,
I want to know why I feel the way I do.
Finally free of a cold hard heart.
No longer walking down a one way street.
I find I don't care, I don't feel.
I only have empty spaces, and darkness
within this hollow shell is hidden pain.
Pain pushed aside, to much to feel.
I let it out, and there is no release.
It faster replenishes than I can let go.
The only thoughts left run red in the street.
Where I have to let go, from everything left.
"You don't need to bother,
I don't need to be.
I'll keep slipin' farther.
Once I hold on,
I won't let go till it bleeds."
