soft and familiar
like a reflection
in the mirror
of your mind

or someone
you met
once
long ago
in a
forgotten
dream

you gaze
back
at a Love
that began and ended
in her misty blue eyes

those eyes…

mirroring
all the hearts
you have managed
to avoid

the closer she comes
the less you are able
to express

the more she
Loves you
the quieter
you become

until even time
and space
recess in
homage to
the stillness

    Such a powerful and truth spoken line Marianne . . . there is so much going on in this beautifully penned piece that I hesitate to say anything more . . . simply captivating . . .

    Sometimes one can only feel with their hearts, hold that tender, beautiful feeling deep inside. Cherished beyond all else but not easily shared with others.
