Mr. Fuzz was a halloween cat,
A cat with fur so black.
He loves to see the pumpkins
And decorations get unpacked.
He sits apon the table
When jack-o-lanterns are made.
But he makes sure their not scary,
So the children aren't afraid.
He watches the whole family
get ready for this night.
But this year there was something wrong!
Something was not right!
He studied every single thing,
What was out of place?
He finally saw a little Sharrie,
tears streaming down her face.
He meowed confortingly to the little girl,
And she said to him in dispair
"Oh Mr. Fuzz! What can I do?
I don't have a costume to wear!"
Mr. Fuzz meowed importanlty,
And wiped her tears away.
He puffed out his chest and threw on a cape
And set off to save the day.
He marched into the sewing room,
And pulled black fabric from the shelf.
He measured, cut and sewed it up,
Until he was quite proud of himself.
He srinkled some glitter over there,
Some sequins over here.
He thought to himself with pride,
"This will sure dry Sharrie's tears!"
He ran to the store and bought a hat,
To complete the look.
He held up his creation,
And took a gleeful look.
He wrapped it in brown paper,
And tied it up with string.
He presented it to Sharrie,
Who confusedly took the thing.
She untied the string and opened the gift,
And grinned when she saw the inside.
"A witch costume for ME?" She said.
She put in on and sighed.
She crouched down on her knees,
To give Mr. Fuszz a huge hug.
"Oh thank you!" She cried with happiness
And Mr. Fuzz did a modest shrug.
"But wait!" She said
"There's one more part
To finish the most
PERFECT start!"
She jumped onto her feet,
To the kitchen she ran.
She came back with a grin,
And a broom in hand.
Mr. Fuzz's tail raised high
When he saw what she had in mind.
Sharrie jumped on the broomstick,
And Mr. Fuzz jumped on behind.
It was time to trick-or-treat!
The moon was shining bright.
A very proud Mr. Fuzz and a little witch,
Rode off into the night.
