It was 1924, Josephine my eternity, awaited my arrival……
The cars vacant, yet overcrowded
The screech, the steam, track not changed…….obscurity
Desolate yet occupied, I stretched my stride
Side-stepped my pace, stability defeated, intermittently
Collapsed, crawling, climbing, continuing; she awaited my coming
Beneath the murkiness and soot, I exhaled slowly stumbling
Miles, miles, miles, I arrived however,
Unbeknownst to my heart, Josephine longed to reach my own
And I found her within the obscurity
