Beauty

Missing image

Radiating pulses of energies heat
throbbing from heart,
mind inspired by love's expressions,
creativity's fire burning.

Glowing colors of prismatic
hues emanate irridecent arcs

from inner spirit's caverns.

Energy's primary, secondary

tinges, shades progressing

from within showing through

white gown, mirroring,

cascading down, around

in rivulets

Piroetting as if dancer,

arms raised, bowing,

woman unconsciously moves

as if under spell.

Propelled, consumed

by her heart's feelings,

hues echo off her

from within.

Beauty, unconditional

love are her mantle.

Favor, unsurpassed

loveliness is her

countenance, and form!

She retires as a woman

overcome, fainting,

to her setee in the

corner.

Author notes

The energies and beauty are what I try and portray here...She is the metaphor of the loveliness I write...Colors, sound, movement, and of course her loving heart is the centre of all energies I have mentioned...Something one hopes they can achieve. That beauty that comes from within, makes one colorful, beautiful, full of sound, life and love..(from God)

Nice pic... I think you really got across the energies and it contrasted nicely with the lull at the end. The use of colour is brilliant and your vocabulary is used amazingly. But: is line 17 meant to have an 'a' before the 'dancer'. Well done.

    How very vibrant and beautiful!
I love the energy in this poem...
The poem from start to finish was like a dance and you were the artist painting her...
    Brilliant!

This was incredibly, vividly, realistic. By far, one of my favorites, now....I love this picture, and you were able to take the mere words on paper, and create an image...an image that not only reflects that of the picture, but....paints another depth, another aspect, another dimension to it.
    Beautiful, beautiful!!!
