Innocent times

As a child I stand,
At the fence watching,
memories of yesterday.

A teddy called purple,
Missing her left eye,
Always my best friend.

 Such innocent times,
Of love and laughter,
I sometimes miss.

Keeping them close,
The memories,
Like a treasure.
