Beyond the present
lies the future
under covers thick and heavy.
Although minds
sometimes levy,
no hand will ever lift.
With knowledge,
change is closely behind.
So for today,
and for each to follow,
we have no right
to recourse tomorrow
without the permission
of God.

Ah and his permission is so simply put in clear rules...with free will to obey or ignore as we choose.

Deceits, not all knowledge is "good". There are many powerful things I know and have practiced in the past that were nothing short of pure evil. Even today, when I allow myself to get overtly angry, the temptation to use that knowledge if hard to overcome
