Growing

Missing image

crayola slashes on the wall
another reminder of youth
they are slipping away

I feel the pain of recognition
as I watch them grow before me
spreading their wings

Flying high into the azure sky
I shade my eyes from the light
they have flown into the sun

This is sweet, at least you take the time to recognize how fast times goes by and treasure every moment!
