Impending Twilight

Rolling out before me
An endless ocean of green
Undulating off into the distance

A brilliant orb of amber dances through the heavens
The world erupts into a thunderous applause
Maelstroms of liquid gold engulf the sky

On the horizon waves crash into golden clouds
Green and gold swirl and meld,
bathing earth in rapturous beauty.
